Most fellas turn up with a chainsaw, drop the tree on your lawn, leave a stump rotting and ruts a foot deep. We bring the right gear, drop it clean, grind the stump out and leave the ground level.

Fill this in and Chase will give you a ring back within the day to talk through it.
A tree near the house is not a chainsaw job. It is a land job. Where it falls, what the roots are tied into, what the ground does once the weight is gone. We read all of that first. Then we plan the drop, the cut, the cleanup and the finish so the property looks settled, not scarred, when we drive out the gate.
Anyone can fell a tree. The craft is in what gets left behind. We grind the stump well below grade, lift the root ball where it needs lifting, backfill with proper soil and rake the ground flat. No sawdust mountain, no churned-up lawn, no rotting timber buried under a thin layer of dirt waiting to sink in six months.
That is the mark we work to. You walk the paddock or the backyard twelve months on and the grass has knitted back over, the ground sits flush, the line of the land reads clean. No scar, no soft patch, no reminder of the tree that used to dominate the view. Just land that looks like it always looked that way.
Cowboys fight the tree, fight the ground, and leave you the mess. We read the fall, the soil and the slope first, then take it out clean the first time.
Walk the site, check the lean, the root spread, what's underneath and what's around. Power lines, fences, septic, paths. Plan the drop before a saw fires up.
Right machine for the job. Controlled fell or section it down if it's tight. Stump ground out properly, root ball lifted, mulch carted off or stockpiled where you want it.
Backfill, level, rake and seed if you want it. You walk out the next morning and the ground sits flush. Looks like the tree was never there.
That's where most blokes get nervous, and fairly. We section it down from the top instead of dropping it whole. Piece by piece, roped and controlled. The house, the gutters and the garden bed underneath don't get touched.
Yes. A tree job that leaves a stump rotting in the ground isn't a finished job. We grind it well below grade, pull the big roots if they're in the way of future plans, and backfill so the ground sits level.
Your call. We can mulch it on site and leave you the pile if you want it for the garden, or cart the lot off and take it away. Either way, the lawn gets raked, the driveway gets blown clean, nothing's left for you to deal with.
Not if we plan it right. We lay down boards or mats where the tracks run, work off the driveway where we can, and pick the right machine for the ground conditions. Wet weather jobs we'll reschedule rather than churn your yard up.
Fixed price. Chase comes out, has a proper look at the tree, the access, the ground and what's around it, then gives you a number in writing. That's the number. No surprise invoices, no it-was-bigger-than-we-thought.
I run TASK Elite Dams out of Newborough and I've been on machines around Gippsland for years. Started in dams, but tree removal sits in the same job description: read the land, work with it, leave it better than you found it.
What gets under my skin is the cowboy stuff. Bloke turns up with a chainsaw and a ute, drops the tree, leaves a stump and a mess and you never see him again. That's not a job, that's a problem you paid for.
If you ring me, I'll come out, walk the property with you, and give you a fixed price in writing. If it's not the right job for us I'll tell you straight. No pressure, no salesman act.
Get A QuoteIf the stump sinks, the ground settles wrong, or something's not how we said it'd be, we come back and sort it. No arguing, no extra invoice. That's the workmanship promise and it's in writing on every quote.
